Be observant and experience the wild without disturbing it
The canoe is a quiet means of transport and it´s easy to get too close to breeding birds on islands and along the beaches. Be particularly careful during the spring and summer, when the birds have eggs or young. If the adults are scared away from the nest, or the brood is split up, the young may not survive.
Make sure the brood doesn´t get split up. Stop the canoe and give the birds time to flee.
Protect nature
Along the trail you can find the nature reserves Ettö, Värö and Villstad. Special rules apply in these areas. Take care of nature. Cutting down trees is prohibited!Leave the camping spot without a trace. Stay the night at one of our camping spots, where there is wind shelter, toilets and waste disposal facilities.

This does not apply if you light a fire in the designated barbecue areas. These are approved for lighting fires even when there is a fire ban.Dogs
